We work closely with school districts in planning and development, to ensure smooth implementations of our data warehouse, student information solution and a host of our add-on programs.
We don’t stop there though; our team is devoted to solid support going forward. MISi has product experts on staff responsible for training school and district personnel new to our products. Training is provided in our facility in Carmel, IN, and/or on site if our clients prefer.
Our help desk department picks up where training leaves off to ensure a smooth transition from initial contact with the systems to working with them on an ongoing basis. Response to Intervention
k12datagifted™ Program Identification Solution is used for determining student rankings based on user supplied criteria such as specialty assessments, grades, attendance and discipline. Information from MISi’s k12datamine™ Data Warehouse is exported from the warehouse and imported automatically into k12datagifted™ on a daily basis.

Response To Intervention RTI is a framework for identifying students at all levels including at risk students with disabilities and behavioral problems. Rather than school systems adopting a “wait to fail” attitude, those students are placed in a managed tiered format of instruction, with teams of educators to guide them through the education process.
Both of these tools are used for identification of program candidacy and determination of current standings. Both programs are imported into k12datamine™ Data Warehouse for reporting and analysis, and RTI for tracking of interventions.
MISi has also partnered with relational enhancement products to take our student systems to the next level of support. We believe all of these products working together with our MISI solutions provide a well rounded management system for districts and schools.
cNotify Emergency Notifcation Service - There are numerous reasons why school systems must swiftly contact student families and the local community. As never before, school officials and administrators must be prepared for any possibility such as severe weather, power outages, bus breakdowns, medical outbreaks and school violence. MISi has partnered with Cintech to provide a solution easy to use and automatically updated each day by exporting data from k12datamine™ Data Warehouse into cNotify. From there, cNotify enables school related broadcast messages to a wide range of recipients via phone, email and text messaging quickly, securely and cost effectively. Messages can be sent to specific groups, and real time displays and historical reports generated that provide summary and detail views of message activity.

Q3 Solutions LLC - MISi has partnered with Q3 Solutions to add EDU, a unique graphical presentation of analytics and data mart solution to our k12datamine™ Data Warehouse. With Q3, K–12 district administrators analyze their data to spot trends, predict outcomes and make faster, data driven decisions. EDU provides a business application that aggregates data from multiple data sources and delivers the answers into a point and click interface that can be accessed via the web.

r-Grade™ - A Rubric is a matrix of criteria and performance levels. Developed by Ball State University and marketed by MISi to k – 12 schools and districts, R-Grade provides a web based tool to assess student learning at an unprecedented interactive level. In R-Grade classrooms, the instructor does not have to wait until the end of the semester to tally numbers which determine a student’s mastery of the curriculum. Instead, evaluation is ongoing, precise and as current as the latest assignment. By building rubrics aligned to learning standards, teachers can blend powerful formative assessments into every day grading at all grade levels.
